Eighteen years later, Rapunzel tells Gothel that she wishes to see these annual floating lights that appear on her birthday, but Gothel rejects her by telling Rapunzel that the world is a dangerous place. Meanwhile, the thief Flynn Rider and his twin thugs heist the tiara of the missing princess from the castle. As they flee, Flynn abandons the twins, allowing the pursuing castle guards to capture them. The lead guard's horse, Maximus, is separated from his rider and continues the search for Flynn on his own.

Flynn happens upon Rapunzel's tower to hide in, only to be held captive by Rapunzel and her pet chameleon, Pascal. Rapunzel bargains with Flynn that if he escorts her to the lights and back, she will return the tiara. Flynn agrees as Rapunzel is excited to be free, but is soon conflicted between the elation from the new experience and the guilt of disobedience. Later, Gothel returns to find Rapunzel gone, but finds the tiara hidden in a bag under the stairs.

The pair arrive at the Snuggly Duckling, a seedy pub filled with thugs. However, the thugs recognize Flynn from the poster and plan to turn him in, but Rapunzel confronts the men stating that she needs Flynn to complete her dream of seeing the lights. The thugs decide to help her as they too have unfinished dreams. Gothel watches through a window, but before she can do anything, the royal guards enter and pursue Flynn and Rapunzel to a wooden dam where the two hide in a closed-off cave. Maximus causes the dam to break and the surrounding area and the cave begin to flood. Thinking that they will die, Flynn reveals to Rapunzel that his real name is actually Eugene Fitzherbert, and she explains that her hair glows when she sings. Realizing that it would light the cave, she sings and the cave is illuminated as they swim to a loosened clump of rocks and escape the cave. Meanwhile, Gothel finds the thieving twins and offers them something worth much more than the tiara.

That night, Rapunzel heals Flynn's hand, which was injured in their escape, with her hair and explains that if her hair is cut, it loses its power and turns brown. As Flynn goes to collect firewood, Gothel appears and pleads with Rapunzel to return to the tower, but Rapunzel refuses as she now has a liking for Flynn. Gothel gives Rapunzel the tiara in the bag and says that Flynn is only interested in it and will leave Rapunzel after he gets it. The next morning, Rapunzel forces Maximus to strike a truce with Flynn as the group arrives at the castle for the princess' birthday festival. That evening, Flynn rows Rapunzel out in a small dingy to the middle of an adjacent lake to gain a good view of the lantern release. Rapunzel gives Flynn the tiara saying that she now trusts him. Flynn sees the twins on a different shore and tells Rapunzel that he will be right back. Flynn apologizes to the twins and returns the tiara, but the twins want Rapunzel instead. Moments later, the twins tell Rapunzel that Flynn has abandoned her for the tiara, when in reality the twins have tied Flynn to a boat after knocking him unconscious. However, Gothel betrays them to look like she's rescuing Rapunzel.

Rapunzel returns to her tower room and notices that a flag she collected at the festival looks exactly like the paintings she made all over the tower's interior. The sunburst design is an early memory from her life in the kingdom. Rapunzel realizes that she is the lost princess and confronts Gothel. Meanwhile, Flynn is arrested and is sentenced to be hanged, but is instead rescued by Maximus and the thugs from the Snuggly Duckling. Flynn and Maximus rush to Rapunzel's tower and find Rapunzel held captive by Gothel. Gothel stabs Flynn, but Rapunzel tells Gothel that as long as she lets her heal Flynn, she will go away with Gothel willingly. Since Flynn would rather die than have Rapunzel stay trapped with Gothel, Flynn cuts Rapunzel's hair, causing all of it to lose its power and turn brown. As a result, Gothel quickly ages and falls from the tower, but disintegrates before reaching the ground. Dying, Flynn tells Rapunzel that his dream was her and as Rapunzel cries, her tears suddenly heal Flynn to return to life, overjoying Rapunzel, and leading her to kiss him. After the last time was filmed by director Ronny Yu's Freddy vs. pass. Jason in 2003, now Michael Bay with its production company, Platinum Dunes, re-filmed one of the most popular horror characters in Hollywood was with the intention of doing a reboot of the franchise A Nightmare on Elm Street was first released in 1984 by director Wes Craven sebvagai.

Choosing Samuel Bayer, formerly better known as a music video director, to sit in a chair director, the latest version of A Nightmare on Elm Street is doing a pretty big step to replace the cast of characters Freddy Krueger. The position normally played by Robert Englund since 1984, has finally replaced by Academy Award-winning actor, Jackie Earl Haley. To script the story, the story earlier draft of this film done by Wesley Strick (Doom, The Glass House) before finally revised by Eric Heisserer.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Still using the same formula as it has implemented an early version of this movie, A Nightmare on Elm Street opened with scenes of Dean Russell (Kellan Lutz), who experienced many horrific dreams about a man who wanted to kill him and made him have not slept in several days. Of course, like any other normal person, her boyfriend, Kris Fowles (Katie Cassidy), said that it was simply a flower bed that does not mean anything. But in reality, few minutes later, when Dean was asleep, he was killed in a way, that for others, looks like he slit his own throat.

They take bank manager Claire Keesey (Rebecca Hall) hostage, soon learning that she lives four blocks from Gloansy. Jem wishes to confront her to see what she knows, but Doug fears that he will make things worse and takes on the assignment himself, eventually meeting up with her and asking her out on a date. Claire confesses that she is still traumatized by the robbery and tells Doug all about the experience. In later conversations with Claire, Doug reveals some of his personal life to her, in particular that his mother deserted his family when he was a young child, the strained relationship between him and his father who is now imprisoned, and mentions in passing that his mother had relatives in Tangerine, Florida, where she might have gone. The two form a deep relationship and Doug develops a strong, protective attachment to Claire.

Meanwhile, FBI agent Adam Frawley (Jon Hamm) is in charge of the case surrounding the robbery. He surveils the crew at a cookout following leads that point to their involvement, and realizes that they all work for Fergus 'Fergie' Colm (Peter Postlethwaite), a local florist in the Boston neighborhood.

Doug is hesitant to undertake their next assignment, due to the professionalism of the guards and the higher risks associated with the taking on of the armored truck crew. His worries are confirmed during the robbery in the North End, where gunfire erupts. The police arrive quickly and a chase ensues; the team barely escapes. Frustrated, Agent Frawley demands that some evidence be found in their torched escape vehicle to justify bringing MacRay and his crew in for an interrogation.

After the FBI team finds justifiable evidence and brings the team in for questioning, Agent Frawley promises Doug that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. In a visit to his father (Chris Cooper) at the local federal prison, Doug reveals that he is planning on leaving Charlestown and asks his father why he never looked for his mother when she left them. His father becomes upset and abruptly ends the conversation, explaining that there was nothing to be found.

When Jem approaches Doug with another job, he initially turns it down, explaining that he is leaving town and taking Claire with him. He then visits Fergie to tell him that he is not doing the job. Fergie tells him that he will, and explains that Doug's father worked for him and wanted out too. Instead, Fergie castrated him chemically and got Doug's mother hooked on drugs. He reveals that Doug's mother never left the family, instead telling him that she committed suicide in an anonymous burnout. He warns Doug that he will kill Claire if he doesn't do the job, which is revealed to be robbing Fenway Park.

Doug and Jem enter the stadium dressed as Boston police officers and trick the guards and counting room staff. They retrieve the money, change into EMT uniforms, and prepare to leave in an ambulance. Meanwhile the FBI was tipped off and have surrounded the entire building. Jem spies some SWAT officers inside the building with them and begins to shoot; Dez is killed. Realizing their desperate situation, Gloansy convinces Doug and Jem to put their cop uniforms back on and slip out while he creates a diversion. Gloansy bursts through the garage door in the ambulance and is killed while creating the diversion, but Agent Frawley quickly figures out the ruse and realizes Jem and Doug are still on the loose.

Frawley catches sight of Jem and tries to arrest him. Jem fires at Frawley and runs through the streets and initiating another massive firefight, during which he is killed. Doug escapes in a police cruiser, after witnessing Jem's death. He heads directly to Town Flowers and kills Fergie. From a building across the street from Claire's apartment, Doug calls her and asks her to come away with him. He sees that Agent Frawley and a team of FBI agents are with her, and that they are pressuring her to help lure him into a trap. She ends the conversation with a coded warning to him, which helps him realize that she still has feelings for him.

Dressed as an MBTA bus driver, Doug slips through the net of police in Charlestown and takes a bus to an Amtrak station where he boards a southbound train. Meanwhile, Claire finds a bag full of money along with a tangerine that Doug buried in a community garden that she tends. A note in the bag explains that she should keep the money and that he's leaving town, and ends the letter with "I'll see you again, on this side or the other." The film ends with a shot of Doug looking over an estuary from the porch of a wooden house.

A young mild-mannered American couple, Cliff and Cydney are celebrating their honeymoon by hiking to a remote beach in Hawaii. The couple comes across two hitchhikers, Cleo and Kale, and a group of frightened hikers discussing a double murder in Honolulu of another newlywed couple on the island, with the victims having their teeth pulled out and their fingerprints gone, and they begin to question whether they should turn back.

Unsure whether to stay or flee, Cliff and Cydney join up with another couple, Nick, who claims to have a titanium plate in his head and be a former special forces operative and an Iraq War veteran, and his longtime Georgian girlfriend, Gina, a former butcher. Far from civilization or rescue, everyone begins to look like a threat and nobody knows whom to trust. Cliff asks Kale whether he is following him. At some point on the island, Kale and Cleo are arrested by the police and are found with a container of pulled teeth in their bag.

While Nick and Cliff hunt for food, Cydney tells Gina about Rocky, a perfect gentleman she went out with years earlier. While having sex by the lake, Rocky told her to go look at something by the bushes. Cydney then saw her neighbor's dog, which Rocky had killed. Rocky then told her that he would kill her if she ever told anyone. After deciding to go to the beach for the day Nick and Cliff go off to a marine cave via kayaks.

While they are gone Cydney goes off to look after the food she was cooking. Gina then discovers Cydney and Cliffs' video camera and realizes that they are not who they say they are and begins to yell for Nick to warn him. Cydney then realizes why Gina started running after Nick and Cliff, so she goes after Gina. It then shows that Cliff and Cydney are the real killers. They kill people and take their identities in order to, as Cliff puts it, live a life of immortality.

In the cave, Cliff shoots Nick in the back of the head. Gina screams and Cliff notices, shooting at her and missing. Cydney, all the while, was sneaking up and jumps at Gina starting a fight between the two. Gina's axe flies down into the cave nearly hitting Cliff in the face. Cydney ends up stabbing Gina in the leg and wounding her and Gina pushes her off in the watery cave. Later, Gina receives a phone call from her phone company and tries to tell the operator to call 911 just as she sees Cydney in the kayak below. She hears her voice directing Cliff/Rocky to her location just as he tries to grab her from below while climbing up a cliff. Gina stabs him in the hand with Cydney's knife.

While Rocky chases Gina and Cydney canoes to the island, Nick, having been saved by the titanium plate in his head, wakes up and starts to pursue Rocky and Cydney. Rocky catches up with Gina because she is stopped by a group of men searching for their stolen kayaks that Nick and Cliff took earlier, one of them being an EMT. Cydney then waves the police helicopter down to the ground as she plans to frame Nick and Gina for the serial killings. Rocky tries to convince the men that he and Gina are a married couple and she is on drugs. After taking a closer look at Rocky's eyes the EMT in the group questions why Gina is supposedly the one with the problem but Rocky's pupils are "the size of olives" (revealing Rocky to be also a drug addict). With his cover blown, Rocky kills him and the rest of the men, shooting & killing each of them as Gina runs away. Having caught up to Rocky, Nick jumps down from the cliff with the axe and knife and slices Rocky's right hand.

With one hand sliced nearly in two and the other still wounded from Gina's stab wound, Rocky (still intoxicated from the drugs) attempts to shoot Nick as he approaches missing with wild shots. Nick takes Rocky's gun and threatens to kill him. Cydney, now up in the helicopter with the police, tell them that Nick is the killer as the sniper takes aim. Just barely able to avoid Rocky's pleas for Nick to kill him, Gina pulls Nick away from Rocky saying she doesn't want to lose him again just as the command to fire is given. Cydney, who reforms herself, tells the police that Rocky, who is about to pick up the dropped gun, is the one they want to kill and the sniper shoots him in the back of the head. While on the medical helicopter, Nick shows Gina the ring he had and proposes to her, and they both agree, "No Honeymoons".

At South Station, Boston, Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) picks up his daughter, Emma (Bojana Novakovic), who has returned home to visit. She throws up, while getting into Thomas' car. At home, as he prepares a meal, Emma starts a nosebleed and vomits violently and as they hurriedly leave to find a hospital, a masked gunman yells, “Craven,” and fires two shotgun blasts at Emma simultaneously. Blasted through the door, she dies in Thomas' arms.

At first, everyone believes that Thomas, a police detective, was the gunman's target, but when Thomas finds Emma had a pistol in her night stand, he starts to suspect that Emma was an intended target. He checks the ownership of the pistol and finds that it belongs to her boyfriend David (Shawn Roberts). David is frightened of the company Northmoor where Emma worked and Thomas discovers that Emma became aware that Northmoor was manufacturing nuclear weapons, intended to be traced to foreign nations if they are used as dirty bombs. Following the failed break-in of the activists, Emma was poisoned with thallium through a carton of organic milk. Burning her effects in his lawn, Thomas encounters Jedburgh (Ray Winstone), a "consultant" tasked to prevent Craven from discovering Emma's information, or kill him. Liking each other, instead, Jedburgh leaves Thomas to investigate. Throughout the film, Thomas repeatedly imagines he hears and sees his daughter, even having short conversations and interactions with her.

Thomas also has several encounters with Northmoor mercenaries, and he eventually discovers through Emma's activist contact that Jack Bennett (Danny Huston), head of Northmoor, ordered the murder of his daughter, as well as the activists Emma was working with to steal evidence of the illegal nuclear weapons (the bodies in the opening). Northmoor personnel kill a hitman marked as a fall guy after he is set up for killing Emma's boyfriend, and attempt to murder another activist who gave Emma's information to Thomas. After confronting a lawyer and Senator that Emma contacted, revealing that they know almost everything that happened, Bennett has Northmoor operatives allow Thomas to be poisoned with thallium, as his daughter had been.

Thomas, now very sick, arrives at Bennett's house and kills the mercenaries, one of whom Thomas realizes is the man who shot his daughter. Bennett shoots Thomas, but Thomas tackles Bennett and pulls out the radioactive milk. He forces it down Bennett's throat and collapses. Bennett runs to his cabinet to get pills to counteract the radioactivity but Tom drags himself over and shoots Bennett through the throat, killing him.

Thomas is hospitalized for the gunshot wounds and radioactive poisoning. Jedburgh, who is revealed to be suffering from a terminal illness, meets with Moore, the Senator (for whom he had been working) and the political advisor who assigned Jedburgh to eliminate Craven. He listens to their suggestions as to how to play the Northmoor incident in a positive light. He tells them that he is done and then suggests an assassination attempt on the Senator should be the feature story, to drive Bennett’s death out of the tabloids. They are happy to go along with the story until Jedburgh tells the senator that he is on the wrong side of the equation. Jedburgh then pulls out his gun and shoots all three men dead before a young Massachusetts State Trooper comes in, gun drawn. Jedburgh gets the drop on the trooper and asks if the young man has a family and kids. The young man says yes and Jedburgh lowers his gun, and is instantly shot and killed by the trooper.

As Thomas lies dying in the hospital, we see Emma walk into his room, then lean down at his bedside and whisper in his ear. Across town, a young reporter opens a letter from Thomas with DVDs revealing the conspiracy, with Thomas's “good luck” wishes, ensuring the company's end. As he dies, Emma comforts him. Then the father and daughter leave the hospital together, walking down the corridor into a bright, white light.

Mo, that time, was on denial about what had happened to his wife and dragged Meggie away. They went to her mother’s aunt, Elinor. But Dustfinger managed to follow them and confronted Mo about the book, the Inkheart. A group of strangers appeared and captured Meggie, Mo, Dustfinger and Elinor. Meggie learns that all of them will be brought to a mysterious man named Capricorn.

He built his castle and seeks for Mo whom he referred to as “Silver-tongued”. He used Mo to read portions in the book that will bring him wealth. Mo, Meggie, and Elinor were imprisoned while Dustfinger discovered that Mo’s wife was no longer in the book and was held as a servant in the castle’s kitchen. Dustfinger made an exchanged promise with Mo that he would help him find his wife in return that he will read him back in the book. They escaped in the castle and searched for the original writer of the Inkheart hoping that they would find a last copy of the book as Capricorn burned theirs. Mo and Dustfinger went back to castle to rescue his wife. Meggie on the other hand was entrusted to the author. By then, she discovered that she inherited the gift of his father; she also is a Silver-tongue. In search for Mo and Dustfinger, Meggie was brought back to the castle in exchange. Actually, the story is really for children. Even of not finishing it, viewers will immediately understand how will they be able to solve do their adventures. The first part is really boring and will leave you clueless. They didn’t even present the origin of the Silver-tongues. Good thing the latter part of the movie was a bit nice. Especially the effects, it was well done and the girl who played Meggie is very pretty.

On Halloween night, 1998, Eric Bottler (Sam Huntington) reunites with his old high school buddies Linus (Chris Marquette), Hutch (Dan Fogler), Windows (Jay Baruchel), and Zoe (Kristen Bell) at a costume party. There is tension between Bottler and his old friends, due to Bottler being the only one that matured since high school. Bottler, now a successful car salesman, finds that his friends have not changed a bit since high school; the number one thing they still have in common is their love of Star Wars. The gang expresses their anticipation for the latest installment to the franchise, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Linus proposes an idea that Bottler and he had been plotting since they were children: to infiltrate Skywalker Ranch and steal a rough cut of the film.

The next day, Hutch and Windows meet Bottler at work and inform him that Linus has cancer. The doctors estimate that he only has roughly four months to live; Episode I comes out in six. To make peace with his former best friend, Bottler decides to go through with their plan and infiltrate Skywalker Ranch. They begin their trip to Texas, where they have to meet Rogue Leader, a girl Windows is having an online relationship with, for information into getting into the Ranch. While on the road, Hutch decides to take a detour to Riverside, Iowa (the future birthplace of Captain James T. Kirk) in an attempt to start a fight with some Trekkies. Hutch gets his wish after attacking a Trekkie by the name of Admiral Seasholtz (Seth Rogen) in retaliation to Seasholtz calling Han Solo a bitch, to which Hutch responds by running down their statue of Captain Kirk and Khan.

The boy's van breaks down and they stumble upon a biker bar. Once inside they ask for help and a glass of water that costs $100. Hutch, refusing to pay, tries to pass himself off as a tough guy who just got out of prison, only to discover that they are in a gay bar. In order to pay for the drink they are forced to become the "midnight entertainment" and strip to Menudo; which goes terribly wrong. "The Chief" fixes their van after they pass out from eating guacamole laced with peyote and gives a bag of it to Linus as a parting gift.

After arriving in Texas, Windows meets Rogue Leader, who turns out to be a 10 year old girl (Allie Grant). The group encounters Harry Knowles (Ethan Suplee), who begins to beat up Windows, telling him to never talk to his niece, Rogue Leader, again. After explaining their situation Harry quizzes them to prove they are true fanboys, then gives them information on one of his contacts that knows how to successfully enter Skywalker Ranch. They are told to meet Harry's contact in Las Vegas, but before they get there they are arrested for fleeing a police vehicle and possession of peyote. Zoe arrives to bail them out of jail, and accompanies them on their journey. Once in Vegas, Hutch and Windows make an attempt to have sex with some girls while Bottler and Linus go to meet Harry's contact. They are shocked to find that his contact is none other than William Shatner. Shatner gives them the information they need and leaves. Upon his departure, Seasholtz and his Trekkie friends, who were attending a Star Trek convention in Vegas, attack them. Meanwhile, Hutch and Windows discover that the girls they were with are escort girls and their angry pimp (Seth Rogen) wants them to pay up.

The group escapes their adversaries and eventually arrives at Skywalker Ranch. Shortly after breaking in to the Ranch, they are discovered by security guards and are caught after a brief chase. The Head of Security (Danny R. McBride) tells them of their impending doom when he receives a phone call from George Lucas himself. Lucas tells him that he will drop all charges if they can prove to him that they are "fanboys." After a short quiz, the Head of Security confirms that they are fanboys and Lucas drops all charges. Being aware of Linus's illness, Lucas allows him to watch the film alone. After the film ends, Linus joins his friends around a campfire and mends his friendship with Bottler.

Six months later, Bottler, Windows, and Zoe emerge from their tent they used to camp out in while waiting in line for the first showing of Episode I. It is revealed that Bottler followed his and Linus's dream by becoming a comic book artist, Hutch has finally started his own detailing business, and Windows and Zoe are now in a relationship. Hutch arrives at the theater with beers he smuggled in, which they use to toast to Linus's memory. The movie ends with Bottler saying "Wait, what if the movie sucks?".

Raizo (Rain) is raised by the Ozunu Clan to become one of the most lethal Special Ops ninja assassins in the world. As a child, Raizo experiences severe training under the guidance of his "father", Lord Ozunu (Sho Kosugi): he is whipped and/or cut whenever he fails and is encouraged to hurt his ninja kin for their training failures. The only kindness he ever receives is from a kunoichi (female ninja), Kiriko (Anna Sawai).

As they grow older, Kiriko and Raizo develop a romantic bond, however Kiriko's desire to leave the Ozunu Clan for freedom is greater.

One stormy night, Kiriko decides to escape from the clan. She encourages Raizo to join her, but he decides to stay. They kiss and she then climbs over the wall to freedom; only to be caught and brought back by her ninja kin. Branded as a traitor, Kiriko is executed (a katana through her heart) by her elder ninja brother Takeshi (Rick Yune). As a result of Kiriko's death, Raizo begins to harbor resentment and doubt towards the clan.

After completing his first assassination, Raizo is instructed by Lord Ozunu to execute an escaped kunoichi like Kiriko. He rebels against his master by slashing his face with a kyoketsu shoge and fights against his ninja kin. Barely surviving, he escapes by falling into a nearby river. Raizo recovers and begins to intervene in Ozunu hits by foiling their attempts.

While staying in Berlin and waiting for Ozunu's next move, Raizo rents a small apartment where he secretly continues to refine his training until it is time to act.

Meanwhile, Europol agent Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) has been investigating money linked to political murders and finds that it is potentially linked to the Ozunu Clan. She defies her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), and retrieves secret agency files to find out more. The clan, finding out about the investigation, attempts to assassinate her but she is rescued by Raizo.

Mika convinces Raizo to meet with Maslow for protection and to provide evidence against the ninja clan, but Raizo is intercepted by a task force for interrogation. Mika feels betrayed that Maslow would trick her that way, but Maslow secretly assures Mika that he is still on her side and gives her a tracking device for emergencies. While Mika warns Maslow of the dangers of keeping Raizo, the Ozunu ninjas infiltrate their secret base and slaughter all the officers.

Mika frees Raizo and he lures the ninjas away as Mika tries to escape. Raizo kills and fends off as many ninjas as he can while Takeshi continues to trail him. He and Mika manage to escape but Raizo suffers mortal wounds around his stomach. Resting in a private area, Mika implants the tracking device into Raizo. Unable to fend against the clan, she hides outside the hotel until special forces arrive to help her. By that time the ninjas have recovered Raizo and taken him back to their base, bringing him before Lord Ozunu for prosecution.

While hidden inside a steel locker Raizo uses his healing techniques to heal all major injuries before being reunited with his "father". Lord Ozunu decides to have Raizo executed as an example but is infuriated by Raizo's defiance to the end; Ozunu strikes against Raizo's internal organs, causing him to spit out the tracking device.

Europol Special Forces Counter-Terrorism tactical teams lead by Maslow storm the hidden Ozunu base and kill most of the ninjas in the court yard. Takeshi and Raizo face each other in the burning Ozunu training hall. Raizo slays Takeshi and confronts Lord Ozunu in a sword duel. While Ozuno initially has the upper hand, Mika, fearing for Raizo's life, distracts and shoots Ozunu with her pistol.

Before Raizo can recover, Lord Ozunu stabs Mika in the heart. Emotionally ravaged, Raizo uses the 'shadow blending' technique for the first time and finishes off Ozunu. Mika, seemingly fatally wounded, is in fact saved by a quirk of birth: her heart is on the opposite side of her chest. Mika and Europol leave the destroyed Ozunu compound while Raizo stays behind. Symbolically, he climbs the same wall Kiriko did all those years ago and looks out at the surrounding countryside. Recognizing his freedom for the first time in years, Raizo smiles, ending the film.

The minister informs Matt that the visions and supernatural encounters are likely a result of the previous occupant's occult activities (including séances and necromancy). The Jonah character is discovered to be the ghost of a psychic medium involved in the previous owner's activities and presently bound to control the "spirits" within the house.

At the G8 summit in 2010, other heads of state and heads of government are informed of the situation. They begin a secret project intended to ensure humanity survives, choosing 400,000 people to board a series of large ships to be constructed in the Himalayas. To help fund the venture, additional individuals are allowed to purchase tickets for one billion euros apiece.

In 2012, Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) is a writer in Los Angeles who works part-time as a limousine driver for wealthy Russian businessman Yuri Karpov. Jackson's ex-wife Kate (Amanda Peet) and their children Noah and Lily live with her boyfriend, plastic surgeon and amateur pilot Gordon Silberman. Jackson takes Noah and Lily camping in Yellowstone National Park, where they meet Charlie Frost, a conspiracy theorist living as a hermit and hosting a radio show from the park. Learning the ships are in China, the group lands in Las Vegas along with other travellers, where they meet Yuri, his sons, girlfriend Tamara, and pilot Sasha. They join the group and secure an Antonov An-225, fleeing Las Vegas as it is destroyed. The group flies to China, passing Hawaii as it is obliterated by volcanic eruptions. Also bound for the ships aboard Air Force One are Anheuser, Adrian, and First Daughter Laura Wilson. President Wilson remains in Washington D.C. and is killed by a giant tsunami. With the Vice President presumed dead and the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives missing, Anheuser appoints himself acting president.

Arriving in China in a crash-landing that kills Sasha, Yuri and his sons are taken to the ships, stranding the Curtis family, Gordon and Tamara, who do not possess tickets. Leaving the crash site, the group is picked up by Nima, a Buddhist monk. They sneak into an ark through its hydraulics chamber with the help of Nima's brother Tenzin, a welder for the ark project. Meanwhile, Satnam and his family are stranded in India after their airlift fails to arrive. In his last moments, Satnam calls Adrian, informing him that a 1500 meter high uncharted tsunami is engulfing India and heading towards the arks. Anheuser orders the arks sealed, trapping thousands outside. Adrian convinces the G8 leaders to let the remaining people board. As the ark's boarding gate is lowered and then raised, Yuri falls to his death getting his two sons aboard. Gordon falls into the gate mechanism and is killed, while Tenzin's drill becomes lodged in the gears, preventing the gates closing and rendering the ship unable to start its engines. The tsunami begins flooding the ark, setting it adrift and drowning Tamara. Jackson and Noah free the drill, enabling the crew to regain control of the ark, barely preventing a collision with Mount Everest.

27 days later, the floodwater from the tsunamis recedes, satellite data shows that Africa rose in relation to sea level, and the Drakensberg mountains in KwaZulu Natal are now the highest on the planet. As three arks set sail for the Cape of Good Hope, Jackson reconciles with his family and Adrian starts a relationship with Laura. The movie ends with a view of a geographically different Africa.

Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd), a big-time real estate salesman, just got engaged to Zooey Rice (Rashida Jones). Zooey is ecstatic about the engagement and calls her friends to tell them about it, but Peter does not seem to have anyone special he'd like to share the good news with. While visiting his parents' (J.K. Simmons and Jane Curtin), it comes out that Peter is actually a "girlfriend guy," and his male friends when he was growing up "fell by the wayside." After overhearing Zooey's friends tell her that they are concerned Peter does not have any friends, Peter realizes he needs to find some male friends in order to have a best man for his wedding. Peter seeks the advice of his younger, gay brother Robbie (Andy Samberg) on how to meet platonic guy friends and how to take them on "man-dates".

Peter's first attempt is to hang out with Barry (Jon Favreau), who is married to Zooey's best friend Denise (Jaime Pressly), for poker night with the guys. It ends horribly when, after chugging too many beers, Peter projectile vomits all over Barry, who already dislikes Peter to begin with. Robbie then sends Peter out with a guy from his gym for a soccer game. That does not last long, since the man angers fans at the game and has a very high-pitched voice. Peter seeks friends online and finds Mel, who represented himself as a young man on his online profile, but is actually an old man. Peter's mother tries next by sending him to dinner with a man named Doug Evans (Thomas Lennon) who just moved to L.A. Against Robbie's advice, Peter goes to dinner with Doug, who believes it to be a romantic date and gives Peter a French kiss.

With all these failed attempts, Peter decides to give up, but during an open house at Lou Ferrigno's property, he meets Sydney Fife (Jason Segel). They instantly hit it off when Sydney gives a play-by-play of a potential buyer passing gas. The two men exchange business cards. When Peter calls Sydney he leaves a very embarrassing voice mail, but when Sydney calls him back they decide to go out for drinks.

After a fun night out, they hang out again for lunch and afterward Sydney shows Peter the "man cave," a space in his garage where he keeps a big-screen TV and his collection of rock instruments and Rush memorabilia. They start playing musical instruments together and hanging out a lot more. Peter finally introduces Sydney to Zooey at their engagement party. At first, it goes well, and Zooey thinks Sydney might hit it off with her perpetually single friend Hailey. But her opinion of him sours when Sydney makes a very awkward speech hinting that Zooey needs to give Peter more oral sex.

Peter convinces Sydney to go golfing with the girls and it ends with Hailey storming off the green. Right after that, when Peter is supposed to be watching TV with Zooey, Sydney calls and talks Peter into going to see Rush instead. At the concert Zooey feels ignored while Peter and Sydney are really enjoying the concert. During tuxedo shopping, Sydney asks Peter why he is marrying Zooey and asks Peter for an $8,000 loan. Doug coincidentally shows up and confronts Peter, making a scene because he thinks he is with Sydney. Peter finally comes clean to Sydney telling him that he was searching for friends before meeting him and that he will loan him the money.

Zooey, however, is now suspicious of Sydney, especially after he gets in a fight with Lou Ferrigno, possibly causing Peter to lose exclusive sales rights to Ferrigno's house. Peter tells Zooey that he lent Sydney money and asks her if she knows why they are getting married. Hurt and angry, Zooey leaves to stay at Denise's house.

When Peter leaves for work that next morning he sees several embarrassing billboards advertising his real estate business that Sydney put up using his loan. When he confronts Sydney, he decides to end their friendship. After he patches things up with Zooey, explaining to her that he is nervous but ready to get married, Peter discovers that the ads worked; he starts receiving more clients, including an apologetic Doug, and offers on the Ferrigno house.

While Peter feels bad about fighting with Sydney now that the Ferrigno house is sold, he doesn't re-invite Sydney to the wedding. Before the wedding, Zooey sees Peter upset, so she calls and invites Sydney (who is already on his way) to the wedding. Just before the vows are to be taken, Sydney makes a dramatic entrance, they declare their platonic love to each other, and Sydney assumes the role of best man.

It is revealed that thousands of years before Optimus Prime and the other Transformers arrived on Earth, there was a race of ancient Transformers who scoured the universe looking for Energon sources. Known as the Dynasty of Primes, they used a weapon called the Sun Harvester to drain stars of their energy in order to convert it to Energon and power Cybertron’s AllSpark. The Primes agreed that life-bearing worlds would be spared, but when one brother, who was thereafter dubbed "The Fallen", constructed a Sun Harvester on Earth in 17,000 BCE, the remaining brothers sacrificed their bodies in order to hide the Matrix of Leadership, the key that powers the Sun Harvester, from The Fallen, who swore to seek revenge upon Earth once he found the key.

In present day, two years after the events of the first film, Optimus now leads NEST, a military organization consisting of human troops and his own team of Autobots—including newcomers Arcee, Sideswipe, Jolt, and the twins Skids and Mudflap. While on a mission in Shanghai to kill Decepticons, NEST learns that The Fallen is coming. Back in the United States, Sam Witwicky finds a splinter of the destroyed AllSpark, and upon contact the splinter fills his mind with Cybertronian symbols, which he is initially unaware contain a riddle that leads to location of the Matrix of Leadership. Sam gives the AllSpark splinter to his girlfriend Mikaela Banes, for safe keeping, and leaves her and Bumblebee behind to go off to college. Upon arrival, Sam meets his college roommate Leo Spitz, who runs an alien conspiracy website, and Alice, a co-ed who makes sexual advances towards him. Back home, Decepticon Wheelie attempts to steal the shard but is captured by Mikaela, who immediately leaves to get to Sam, after he had a mental breakdown, uncontrollably writing in Cybertronian language.

Decepticon Soundwave hacks into a US satellite to eavesdrop on the NEST forces, learning the location of the dead Decepticon leader Megatron, and where another piece of the AllSpark exists. The Decepticons retrieve the shard and use it to resurrect Megatron, who flies into space and is reunited with Starscream and his master, The Fallen. The Fallen instructs Megatron and Starscream to capture Sam in order to discover the location of the Matrix of Leadership. Mikaela arrives in town just as Alice, who is revealed to be a Pretender, attacks Sam. Mikaela, Sam, and his roommate Leo destroy Alice, but are captured by Grindor. The Decepticon known as "The Doctor" prepares to remove Sam's brain, but Optimus and Bumblebee appear and rescue him. In the ensuing fight, Optimus ends up getting killed by Megatron.

After Prime's death, Megatron orders a full-scale assault on the planet. The Fallen speaks to the world and demands them to surrender Sam to the Decepticons or they will continue their attack. Sam, Mikaela, Leo, Bumblebee, the Twins and Wheelie regroup, Leo believing his online rival "RoboWarrior" may be of assistance. "RoboWarrior" is revealed to be former Sector Seven agent Simmons, who informs the group that the Transformers have visited Earth before, as their language is written on ruins all over the world. Wheelie identifies the language as that of the Primes, and directs the group to a former Decepticon named Jetfire, who can translate the language. They find and reactivate Jetfire, who teleports the group to Egypt and explains that the tomb of the Primes is located in the surrounding desert, and only a Prime can kill The Fallen. By following the clues, the group locates the Matrix, but it crumbles to dust in Sam's hands. Believing the Matrix can still revive Optimus, Sam collects the dust and instructs Simmons to telephone Major William Lennox to bring the other Autobots and Optimus's body.

The military arrives with the Autobots, but so do the Decepticons, and a battle arises. During the fight, Decepticon Devastator is formed and unearths the Sun Harvester in one of Egypt's pyramids before being destroyed by the US military. Jetfire arrives in time to save the group from Mixmaster, but is mortally wounded by Scorponok. The Air Force carpet bombs the Decepticons, but Megatron gets through and kills Sam. In a vision, Sam meets with the other Primes, who tell him that the Matrix of Leadership must be earned, which Sam has done, and send him back with a fully formed Matrix to bring Optimus back to life. The Fallen steals the Matrix shortly after Sam uses it on Optimus, and activates the Sun Harvester. In a final effort, Jetfire volunteers his parts and spark to give Optimus the strength he needs to defeat The Fallen. With renewed energy, Optimus destroys the Sun Harvester and takes on Megatron and The Fallen, killing the latter; Megatron and Starscream retreat and vow that their fight is not finished.

In 2003, Dr. Kogan Serena (Helena Bonham Carter), Cyberdyne Systems convinces prisoner on death row of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) to sign over his body for medical research after his execution by lethal injection. A year later, the Skynet system is activated, the man perceived as a threat to their existence, and eliminates most of humanity in the case known as the Day of Reckoning (see Terminator 3: Rise of Machines). In 2018, John Connor (Christian Bale) leads a resistance attack on a base of Skynet. Juan discovers human prisoners and plans to develop a new type of Terminator incorporating living tissue, but is the only apparent survivor of the attack from the base is destroyed in a nuclear explosion. However, Marcus is clear from the remains of the base and proceeds to walk to Los Angeles.

John comes back to Resistance headquarters aboard a nuclear submarine, said Ashdown General (Michael Ironside), the current leader of its discovery. John meets with his official Barnes (common) and his wife Kate (Bryce Dallas Howard) and radio broadcasts sent to members of the Resistance and the surviving civilians around the world.Arriving at the ruins of Los Angeles, Marcus is saved from a Terminator T-600 Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) and his silent companion star (Jadagrace Berry). Kyle referred to the events of Marcus' Day of Reckoning and war between humans and machines. Radio audience of John, three leave Los Angeles in search of the Resistance. In the original movie, a flying saucer orbits Earth, and lands in Washington, DC, on the Mall. Klaatu (Michael Rennie) steps out and is shot by a jumpy soldier. Gort (Lock Martin), an indestructible robot steps out of the spacecraft and proceeds to melt all the weapons, including tanks. Later, the Earth comes to realize that Gort has used very little of his power to make this happen.

While lying on the ground, Klaatu orders Gort to stop, and is then taken by the military to a hospital from which he later escapes in order to learn more about this planet called Earth and its human inhabitants. He meets Helen Benson (Patricia Neal) and her son Billy (Billy Gray); takes Klaatu on a tour of Washington, DC; and finally stops in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Klaatu reads the words uttered by Lincoln many years ago and realizes that there might be hope for Earth.

When they begin to suspect the alien man, he reveals himself, along with the news that Gort is a member of a race of super-robot enforcers invented to keep the peace of the galaxy and will destroy the Earth if provoked. Klaatu is pursued and shot and killed by the military. Before Klaatu dies, he tells Helen to go to Gort, and say the words "Klaatu barada nikto." If she does not, Klaatu tells her Gort will destroy the Earth. Helen makes her way to the ship and finds Gort. As the robot moves towards her, she repeats the phrase over and over. The robot picks her up and takes her into the ship. It then retrieves Klaatu's body and, through their alien science, resurrects Klaatu.

The 2008 remake about an alien and his indestructible robot will star Keanu Reeves as Klaatu, Jennifer Connelly as Helen Benson, Jaden Smith as Jacob, and Kathy Bates. Gort has not been cast at this time and will most likely be created using SFX.

The remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still will supposedly remain true to the original movie. However, there is a chance the remake will more likely remain true to the short story upon which the 1951 movie is based. In either case, the alien weaponry seems to have been upgraded. In addition to a city going dark, and a very brief look at the new Gort, the film trailer shows a cloud of black smoke, capable of rapid movement and disintegrating matter on contact.

In the 1951 movie, Gort is described as one of a race of robots created by the planets to maintain peace throughout the galaxy. If the 2008 remake follows "Farewell to the Master," the short story by Harry Bates upon which the 1951 movie is based will be used for the ending, which will not be revealed here.

Infamous vigilante and anti-hero Frank Castle (Ray Stevenson) is six years into his vengeance-driven zeal as the Punisher. When he brutally assaults a "beat the rap" party for notorious mob boss Gaitano Cesare, he is alerted to the fact that Billy Russoti (Dominic West) has escaped to his recycling plant hideout by Detective Saffiotti (Tony Calabretta) who along with Detective Martin Soap (Dash Mihok) were staking out the party. Castle infiltrates Russoti's hideout and murders Nicky Donatelli (Romano Orzari) as he is exiting the bathroom. The ensuing gunshot alerts Russoti, and a brief fire fight between Castle and he ensues, ending in Russoti being thrown into a glass-crushing machine which ends up leaving the gangster hideously disfigured. Castle, who has taken cover behind the body of Donatelli, realizes that the man he killed was an undercover FBI Agent.

Agent Paul Budiansky (Colin Salmon), the ex-partner of the undercover agent, joins the NYPD's "Punisher Task Force" and partners up with Soap to help bring Castle to justice, once and for all. Meanwhile, a facially mutilated Russoti recovers from his run-in with the Punisher with revenge on his mind and frees his deranged brother, Loony Bin Jim (Doug Hutchison) under his new alias "Jigsaw."

Distraught that he has now become the very evil he swore to battle, Castle attempts to make reparations to Donatelli's wife, Angela (Julie Benz) and daughter, Grace (Stephanie Janusauskas) to no avail. Castle considers retiring from the vigilante business. However, upon hearing information from his partner and armorer, Microchip (Wayne Knight), plans quickly change once he learns that Jigsaw has learned of Donnatelli's family's existence, and will be going after them for revenge.

Jigsaw, Loony Bin Jim, Ink, and Pittsy break into Donatelli's house and hold the family hostage while they tear the house apart looking for the money Donatelli was in charge of. Meanwhile the Punisher goes after the 3 criminals led by Maginty, (T. J. Storm) who were hired to run the delivery for Jigsaw's "biological goods". While doing an parkour roll through the air, one is shot by a grenade launcher, another is shot by a rifle, and Maginty has his knees shot out and interrogated by the Punisher as to Jigsaw's whereabouts. Maginty informs Jigsaw went after Donatelli's money so he could pay them for the job. Begging for his life, the Punisher doesn't shoot him, but instead throws him off the roof and onto a spiked fence, killing him.

Agent Budiansky arrives just in time with Detective Soap (who learned of the Punisher's whereabouts by going after the first dispatcher call they heard about the three criminals). Agent Budiansky attempts to arrest the Punisher but is easily disarmed and the Punisher warns him to leave him alone but just as he is about to walk away Budiansky decides to hit the Punisher, starting a fight. The fist fight ends up with Budiansky being held face first in a puddle, gasping for air. Just as the Punisher is about to walk away, Budiansky gets up and handcuffs himself to the Punisher. The Punisher points out that Jigsaw went after Donatelli's family and Budiansky has to let him go, but Budiansky sends just one police car to check on the Donatelli house, (the officers are easily killed) and intends to take the Punisher back to the station instead, but is convinced to check on the house himself after the patrol car fails to respond.

Budiansky enters the house, refusing the Punisher's help, and is forced to drop his weapon by Ink and Pittsy holding the family hostage. Soap frees the Punisher, who kills Ink, and Budiansky disarms Pittsy and is about to handcuff him when the Punisher shoots Pittsy in the face with a shotgun, blowing apart the handcuffs in Budiansky's hand in the process. Budiansky can only draw his weapon and point it at the Punisher in protest to no avail. Budiansky then arrests Jigsaw and Loony Bin Jim after a short gun fight in which the 2 criminals simply empty their clips at Budiansky who was behind cover and still had ammunition left.

Jigsaw and his brother escapes custody by giving up Cristu Bulat (David Vadim), who was smuggling in a biological weapon to Arab terrorists in Queens to the FBI, in exchange for total immunity, the money Donatelli hid and a file on Microchip. They take Microchip hostage, killing his mother in the process and hiring a small private army of criminals, and then hole up in the Bradstreet Hotel.

Castle enlists the help of Agent Budiansky, who sets up a distraction for him at the Bradstreet Hotel by offering up Jigsaw to Tiberiu Bulat (Aubert Pallascio) Cristu's father who sends in his goons to start a shootout in the hotel's lobby. Before entering, Castle knocks Budiansky out, knowing that he must face Jigsaw alone. Once inside, a brutal shootout ensues with Jigsaw's goons.After the shootout, Loony Bin Jim attacks Castle unexpectedly triggering a massive fight between the two. Loony Bin Jim appears to have the edge in the beginning, however, Castle becomes furious and begins smashing Loony Bin Jim into several walls. After Frank slams him up against one final wall, Loony Bin Jim runs off. Castle chases him and confronts Jigsaw along with Loony Bin Jim, both holding Microchip and the Donatelli family at gunpoint. Jigsaw gives Castle a choice: If Frank shoots one of his friends, Jigsaw will let the others go free. Microchip boldly offers his life to save the Donatellis, but Castle chooses to shoot Loony Bin Jim instead. As a result, Jigsaw kills Microchip. Enraged by the loss of his partner, Castle attacks Jigsaw. This mainly one sided fight ultimately ends with the Punisher impaling Jigsaw with a metal rod and then throwing him onto a fire. As Jigsaw burns to death, Castle calmly tells him that "This is just the beginning."

Outside the building, Castle bids farewell to the Donatelli family. As Castle and Soap are walking down the street, Soap tries to persuade Frank to give up his role as the Punisher. Soap has a change of heart, however, when he is attacked by a mugger, who quickly becomes another victim of the Punisher.

The film begins with a ship in the ocean. Two workers think that they are transporting alcohol, and want to have a little taste. They open a container and find numerous drums inside. One of the drums is knocked over. They pick it up and open it, only to get a face full of toxic waste. The captain and crew hear an alarm go off and put on gas masks. They find the two workers, dead next to the open drum. The captain has the bodies thrown over the side of the ship. Elsewhere, Malcolm (David Atrakchi) drives his car to a police checkpoint. A cop requests to see his passport, and he shows it to him. The cop sees a woman sleeping in the backseat, and Malcolm says that shes tired from partying last night. The cop lets Malcolm through the checkpoint.

Frank Martin (Jason Statham) and Inspector Tarconi (François Berléand) enjoy a boring day of fishing in the ocean. They are at the spot that Tarconi used to fish with his father, and is surprised that they havent had any bites yet. Eventually, Tarconi gets a bite and Frank gets all excited, telling him to fight for the fish. Elsewhere, Malcolm gets to another police checkpoint and shows his papers to a cop. However, the cop tells Malcolm to get out of the car and bring his papers inside so that they can inspect it. He also tells him that the woman in the back needs to come inside as well. Malcolm looks nervous, and then he winds up speeding past the checkpoint. The cops chase Malcolm through the streets, but wind up crashing into a van. Tarconi, after losing the fish, gets the call about the chase and is surprised that Frank was not the driver. He tells Frank that hes going to have to cut their fishing day short, and they depart just as Frank gets a bite. At the airport, Johnson (Robert Knepper) and his men arrive in a private jet. When asked what his purpose is in the country, Johnson says that hes there for environmental protection. During this time we see Minister Leonid Vasilev (Jeroen Krabbe) talking with reporters about his plan to help save the environment. Vasilev goes into his office and finds a confidential envelope waiting on his desk. The envelope starts to ring, and he finds a cell phone inside. Johnson is on the other end of the line, and is watching Vasilev from across the street. Johnson works for a company that Vasilev refused to do business with, since they would cause harm to the environment. Johnson has been hired to convince him to reconsider, and tells him to look at the picture inside the envelope. Vasilev is shocked by what he sees, and Johnson tells him that hell be in contact with him.

At night, Frank falls asleep watching a fishing show on TV at his house. He wakes up, and hears tires screeching. Suddenly, a car crashes into his house. The driver is Malcolm, and he is bloodied from the crash and having been shot. As Frank recognizes him, we see a flashback to when he was approached for a job. Frank declined, and instead gave the man Malcolms name and number to contact. The man was adamant that his boss wanted Frank because hes the best and wouldnt take no for an answer. Frank tried to leave, but became surrounded by henchmen in a room with a piano in it. They tried to make him reconsider, but Frank took off his jacket and beat the crap out of them all. Back to the present, Frank calls an ambulance to get help for Malcolm, who refuses to get out of the car. Frank sees that he has a metal device strapped around his wrist, and the paramedics show up. Malcolm, weak, tries to tell them something about the car but the paramedics load him into the ambulance and start to drive away. Frank inspects the car and then sees Valentina (Natalya Rudakova) in the backseat. He tries to get her to get out of the car so that he can help her, but she shows him that shes also wearing a metal device. Frank realizes that somethings wrong and runs after the ambulance. After a certain distance, the ambulance explodes. He goes back into his house and is immediately knocked out by someone.

When Frank wakes up, he finds himself in a room wearing nothing but his underwearand a metal device around his wrist. He finds a suit in the closet and puts it on. Johnson walks in and says that he would like to hire him for a job, since Malcolm (his replacement) failed. Frank maintains that hes unavailable. Becoming annoyed with a henchman, Johnson shoots him in the forehead and then points the gun at Frank. He tells him that he has three seconds to accept the job or hell kill him. Frank has no choice but to take the job, under the condition that he drives his own car. Johnson had a feeling that he would want his car, and so he leads Frank to a garage. Johnson has had his men take out all the weapons from the car and has installed his own GPS. He also gives him a wad of cash for gas/food, and a cell phone that will only call Johnsons number. He tells Frank to think of this as more of a mission, and tells him to not disappoint. He also mentions that the metal device around his wrist is a bomb, and if he gets more than 75 feet away from the car, hell explode. Hell be released after completing the mission. Frank is about to get in when he sees that Valentina is sitting in the passenger seat. He says that he works alone, but says that hell take the girl when Johnson threatens to kill her. He gets into the car and, after loading two bags into the trunk, tells Frank to get driving. Meanwhile, Tarconi arrives at Franks house and wonders what the hell happened there. He has his cops set up a crime scene, and a cop tows away Malcolms car. However, the tow truck is blocked off by a car and the cop is shot through the windshield. The gunmen remove the GPS from Malcolms car and drive off.

After getting through a police checkpoint, Frank calls Johnson and he tells him to punch in a code for the GPS. The next location he will have to go is Budapest (Hungary). Frank repeatedly tries to get Valentina to talk to him about whats going on, but she refuses. Meanwhile, Tarconi has found the tow truck and the dead cop inside. He reviews video footage from the tow truck and sees who the gunmen were. He also sees their license plate, and has his cops try to find them. Frank drives off the chosen path and Johnson is made aware of it, since his men are tracking the car. Johnson sends some henchmen to persuade Frank to get back on course, but warns his men not to kill him since they need him. Frank drives to a garage owned by his friend Otto (Timo Dierkes), whos also a tech whiz. He shows Otto the bomb around his wrist, and asks him if he can remove it. Otto cant, and says that he knows the Pentagon has been working on something like it in secret. He says that theres a transmitter somewhere in the car, and then Johnsons goons show up. Frank orders Otto to search his car for the transmitter while the henchmen order Frank to get driving. They grab wrenches & poles, and attack Frank. As he beats his way through the men, Frank takes off his clothes and uses them as weapons. Eventually, he winds up shirtless and a giant henchman shows up. He throws Frank through a wall and beats him up. Frank tries to fight back, but his punches/kicks seem to hardly have any effect on him. The giant winds up getting stuck in the floor, and Frank bashes his head with a shovel. As Frank gets dressed, Valentina has obviously become attracted to him and helps straighten his tie. Otto finds the transmitter, but if he removes it the bombs will go off. Frank and Valentina drive away.

While Valentina takes a nap in the back, Frank calls Johnson and tells him that he wants to talk face-to-face. Johnson says that hell be at Budapest, and to wait for his call. Frank arrives in Budapest and then sees a nearby pay phone ringing. He exits the car to answer it, and Johnson says that hes been thinking about their arrangement. Hes starting to think that anyone with a drivers license can do the mission, and so in the vein of Donald Trump, he fires Frank. A henchman steals Franks car and drives away. Frank chases him on foot, desperate to remain within distance. Valentina wakes up and sees that the new driver is not Frank. She starts to fight with him, trying to get him to stop the car, as Frank steals a bicycle and rides through a factory. Eventually, the driver stops to take care of Valentina. Frank rides his bicycle through a window, jumps through the drivers window, and kicks him out. Frank then drives off with Valentina. Meanwhile, the men that hired Johnson meet with Vasilev and order him to sign their contract, which also includes allowing the ship from the beginning to enter port without question. Vasilev buys some time by requesting 24 hours to review the contract. Also, Frank contacts Tarconi and informs him of the situation at hand. Frank talks with Johnson again, and agrees to do the mission. The next location he has to go to is Bucharest. Tarconi and his cops were listening in on the call, and are doing their best to trace Johnsons location but its difficult since he keeps on moving.

Valentina says that shes hungry and describes what she wants to eat. She becomes more upbeat and puts on some make-up. When she does, she finds that she still has some drugs. She offers Frank a pill, but he refuses since hes more focused with driving. He tells her not to take the pills, but she does anyways. Valentina blasts some music and then says that she needs to pee. Frank pulls into a gas station and fills up the tank. Before Valentina goes inside, Frank reminds her not to go far from the car. Valentina goes inside the convenience store and pays for the gas. She eats some food and drinks some vodka in the back of the store. However, she is unable to get to the bathroom because its more than 75 feet from the car. Valentina resorts to pissing in the aisle while Frank becomes frustrated with her behavior. A car pulls up in front of the gas station, and a man gets out to piss on the side of the road. Frank gets suspicious and tells Valentina to get back in the car. She keeps on drinking the vodka and makes a scene at the gas pump. The guys in the car up ahead recognize Valentina and go into reverse. Frank throws the vodka away, shoves Valentina into the back, and speeds off. The other car tries to run Frank off the road, but fail. Frank calls Johnson and asks him why the car is chasing him. The guys in the other car are not Johnsons people, and so he tells Frank to drive faster while he figures out who they are. Two big trucks drive in both lanes on the road up ahead. Frank turns the car on its side and drives sideways between the trucks. He makes it past, and one of the trucks loses control. The other car chases Frank to a forest and fire at him with machine guns. Frank slams on the brakes just before the edge of a cliff. The other car drives over the cliff and explodes after falling.

Frank rests his head on the steering wheel, and Valentina massages him because hes so tense. She then kisses the back of his neck, and Frank asks him what shes doing. She says that if theyre going to die, she wants to have sex one last time. Frank declines and gets out of the car. He looks in the trunk and finds that the two bags are filled with phone books. He then realizes that Valentina is the package hes transporting. She steals his keys and playfully walks away from the car. She says that she was turned on watching him fight shirtless earlier, and she wants him to do a striptease. Frank reluctantly takes off his shirt, but Valentina then requests a kiss. He kisses her, but she wants a kiss like he means it. Frank passionately kisses her, and they continue to make out even after he gets his keys back. Meanwhile, Johnson calls Vasilev and is furious that he sent some men to try to thwart his plan. Johnson says that if he ever wants to see his daughter Valentina again, hell have to play ball and sign the contract. Vasilev reveals that he knows who Johnson is and says that he wants to talk to his daughter before signing the contract. Johnson tries to call Frank, but hes too busy having sex with Valentina in the car. Hes also at a loss because since Frank is in the forest, hes out of range for them to track him.

As Frank and Valentina overlook the valley, Valentina finally reveals what happened. She was at a nightclub partying with friends when someone gave her a drugged drink. She went to the bathroom and passed out. When she woke up, she was in the backseat of Malcolms car. She begged Malcolm to pull over and let her call her father. He did, even though it was against the rules. As she called her father, Johnsons henchmen showed up and chased them. They shot Malcolm in the back, and he told Valentina that he would make sure shes safe, which is why he crashed into Franks house. Frank and Valentina get back on the road, and Johnson calls them. He says that instead of going to Bucharest, hes going to take the next left and continue down the road. Valentina is afraid that they will kill Frank, but he tells her not to worry about it. Elsewhere, Tarconi visits Vasilev and works with him on getting his daughter back. Johnson calls and orders Vasilev to sign the contract, but he refuses until he hears Valentinas voice. He hangs up before Tarconi can trace his location. Frank winds up driving on a bridge, and becomes blocked on it (Johnson and his men are at both sides). Johnson orders Valentina to get out of the car and walk to him. Frank kisses her goodbye and tells her that hell be fine. Valentina walks over to Johnson, who removes her bomb, and spits in his face. Johnson punches her in the stomach and shoves her into a car. He then orders his men to kill Frank. They pump his car full of bullets, and Frank drives off the bridge into the water below. Johnson is satisfied, since hes dead either way (he stays, he drowns he leaves, he explodes).

Underwater, Frank calls Tarconi and tells him where he is. Tarconi and the cops are ten minutes away and tell Frank to hang on. As Frank begins to drown, he swims to the trunk and takes out the two bags from earlier. He uses the air from the tires to blow air into the bags, which allows him to breathe. He then ties the bags to the car, and the air causes the car to float to the surface. Tarconi and the cops arrive just in time to see Frank & his car being pulled out of the water by a tractor. Frank gets a new pair of clothes and works on his car to get it running again. Meanwhile, Johnson and his men arrive at a train station. He tells a henchman to buy tickets for the next train, since they need to keep moving. The henchman annoys Johnson and he almost kills him, but stops when he sees witnesses around. While on the train, Johnson calls Vasilev and lets him speak with Valentina. Tarconis cops are able to trace Johnsons location to the train. Franks car starts again, and he speeds off to save Valentina. Johnson says that he really hates violence, since it causes more problems than solutions, but sometimes its necessary to get what you want. Valentina then sees that Frank is driving alongside the train and smiles. Frank drives up ahead to a bridge and then drives off it, landing on top of the train. He jumps through a window and is fired upon by the henchmen. Johnson holds Valentina at gunpoint, but she bites his hand and runs off into the other cabs. Frank kicks a helmet at a goons face, grabs a machine gun, and kills all the henchmen. Johnson gets to Valentina again, and Frank runs after him. However, he is forced to stop due to being 75 feet from the car. Johnson dares Frank to takes one more step, but Frank runs away.

While Tarconi and the cops give chase to the train, they see Frank climb on top of the train and climb back into his car. Johnson separates the cabs so that Franks section drifts away from them. Frank manages to drive his car from the top of the train into the cab where Johnson and Valentina are. Frank then gets out and beats the hell out of Johnson. He tries to stab Frank with a knife, but Frank knocks it away and continues to beat him. Johnson lands on the car and Frank grabs the key to remove his bomb. He then ties Johnsons arm to the car, straps the bomb to his wrist, and puts the car in reverse. Johnson panics and gets his arm loose from the car before it falls off the train. He then realizes that he shouldve stayed with the car, since he becomes 75 feet from it. Johnson explodes, causing the train to come to a halt. Frank finds Valentina and kisses her. Tarconi rescues them and calls Vasilev, telling him that his daughter is safe. Vasilev rips up the contract, and the ship from the beginning is raided by the police. Some time later, we see Frank and Tarconi fishing again in the ocean. Tarconi notes that Frank is changing, and we see that Valentina is with them, sunbathing on the boat. The film ends with Valentina telling them what she wants to eat.

Tec's book told how Polish Jews came together for common protection and to oppose the German occupation of their homeland.

Defiance stars Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell, and George MacKay as four Jewish brothers from Poland who escaped the Nazi persecution and fought back to rescue fellow Jews. Production began in early September 2007. The film had a limited release in the United States on December 31, 2008, and went into general release worldwide on January 16, 2009.

Plot :
The film opens with on-screen text stating: "A true story". It is August 1941 and Nazi forces are sweeping through Eastern Europe, targeting Jewish people. Among the survivors not killed or restricted to ghettoes are the Bielski brothers: Tuvia (Daniel Craig), Zus (Liev Schreiber), Asael (Jamie Bell), Aron (George MacKay). Their parents are dead, slain by the local police under orders from the occupying Germans. The brothers flee to the forest, vowing to avenge their parents.

They encounter other Jewish escapees hiding in the forest and the brothers take them under their protection and leadership. Over the next year, they shelter a growing number of refugees, raiding local farms for food and supplies, moving their camp whenever they are discovered by the Germans. Tuvia kills the local police chief responsible for his parents' deaths and the brothers stage raids on the Germans and their collaborators, however Jewish casualties cause Tuvia to reconsider this approach because of the resulting risk to the hiding Jews. A long-time sibling rivalry between the two eldest brothers, Tuvia and Zus, fuels a disagreement between them about their future: as winter approaches, Zus elects to leave his brothers and the camp and join a local company of Soviet partisans, while his older brother Tuvia remains with the camp as their leader. An arrangement is made between the two groups in which the Soviet partisans agree to protect the Jewish camp in exchange for supplies.

After a winter of sickness, starvation, and constant hiding, the camp learns that the Germans are about to attack them in force. The Soviets refuse to help them and they evacuate the camp as German dive-bombers strike. A delaying force stays behind, led by Asael. The defense does not last long, with only Asael and another surviving to rejoin the rest of the group, who, at the edge of the forest, are confronted with a seemingly impassable marsh. They cross the marsh, but are immediately attacked by German infantry supported by a tank. Just as all seems lost, the Germans are assaulted from the rear by a partisan force led by Zus, who has grown disenchanted with the Soviets' anti-Semitism. As the survivors escape into the forest, the film ends as on-screen text states that they survived another two years, ultimately growing to a total of 1,200 Jews. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is a 2008 sequel to the 2005 film, Madagascar about the continuing adventures of Alex the Lion, Gloria the Hippo, Marty the Zebra, and Melman the Giraffe. It stars the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric the Entertainer and Andy Richter. The film, distributed to theaters by Paramount Pictures, starts as prequel, showing a small part of Alex's early life, including his capture by hunters. It soon moves to shortly after the point where the original left off, with the animals deciding to return to New York. They board an airplane on Madagascar, but crash-land in Africa, where each of the central characters meets others of the same species; Alex is reunited with his parents. Problems arise, and their resolution occupies much of the remainder of the film. The previous title was "Madagascar: The Crate Escape", which was featured on a trailer with Ben Stiller. This, along with Soul Men, was Bernie Mac's last film performance.

Plot :
As a cub, Alex the lion was called Alakay and was the son of Zuba, the alpha lion. Though Zuba tries to teach Alakay to be a hunter, the cub is more interested in dancing. When another lion named Makunga challenges Zuba to a fight for the position of alpha lion, Alakay is captured by poachers. Though Zuba tries to rescue his son, Alakay is forced into a crate. The crate falls into the ocean where it drifts to New York. There, Alakay is renamed Alex and sent to the Central Park Zoo where he grew up, meeting Gloria, Marty, and Melman.

In the present time, Alex, Gloria, Melman, Marty, King Julien, Maurice, and Skipper and his fellow penguins board a repaired airplane in the hopes of using it to fly back to New York. Though the plane does fly, it ends up crash-landing in Africa because of lack of fuel. In Africa, the animals are amazed to find more of their kind. Alex is reunited with Zuba and his mother. Marty quickly fits into a herd of zebra who all look, sound, and talk exactly like him. Melman takes on the position of witch doctor amongst the animals. Gloria, interested in finding a mate, attracts the attention of a smooth-talking but shallow hippo named Moto Moto.

Meanwhile, the penguins set about repairing the plane. They carjack several jeeps from New Yorkers on vacation, leaving the tourists stranded and lost in the jungle. A tough old woman called "Nana" takes charge, reminding them that they are New Yorkers and always survive.

Unfortunately, life in Africa is not as wonderful as it first seems. Makunga, still determined to take the position of alpha lion, reminds Zuba that Alex must complete a traditional lion coming-of-age challenge. Alex, thinking that the challenge is a dance contest (it is actually a fight) competes against the strongest lion and loses quickly. To avoid being forced to banish Alex for failing, Zuba abdicates and Makunga immediately takes the position and banishes Alex and his family. Marty meanwhile begins to feel upset that all of the zebras are exactly the same as him, leaving him with nothing unique. Melman is happy as a witch doctor until he learns that he has the same spot that had apparently caused the previous witch doctor to die. Melman is also upset about Gloria dating Moto Moto, as Melman has secretly loved her for a long time. Gloria goes on a date with Moto Moto and quickly realizes that he only loves her for her body.

The next day, the animals are in a panic when they discover that the watering hole has dried up. Determined to make up for his earlier failure, Alex and Marty decides to risk being shot by hunters and leave the reserve to discover what happened. The pair discover that the stranded New Yorkers, under the instruction of Nana, have dammed the river and built a primitive civilization. Alex is captured and Marty runs for help. Meanwhile, Zuba hears what Alex did and goes to rescue him.

King Julien suggests that the animals sacrifice one of themselves into the volcano to appease the water gods and regain their water supply. Believing that he will die soon, Melman volunteers to be sacrificed. Gloria stops him just in time and Marty arrives to tell them of Alex's fate. The trio, the penguins, and several chimpanzees use the newly-fixed plane to come to the rescue. Alex meanwhile manages to rescue both himself and his father by dancing for the New Yorkers, who quickly recognize him from the zoo. The other animals rescue the lions with the plane and destroy the dam, freeing the water. Alex manages to remove Makunga from power by tricking Nana into attacking him and she drags him back to the other marooned tourists. Skipper marries a bobble-head hula doll from the plane and leaves on a honeymoon, leaving the other animals to remain in Africa.
